I created a new logo and a simle design for the gafas de soul web site.

I'm especially pleased with the logo. According to the band, "Gafas de Sol" is Spanish for "sunglasses". The band created a clever play of words when they named themselves "Gafas de Soul" - thinking it could be translated to "windows on soul".

I kept this all in mind when creating the logo. I wanted something subtle, yet clever, like the name of the band. The woman's sunglasses has the band's name along the rim, where a designer's name may be. There is also a reflection of a man playing the saxophone in the sunglasses.
