Sunday, September 22, 2002 Asilomar Conference Center www.visitasilomar.com The wedding will take place at the Asilomar Conference Center located in Pacific Grove, approximately two miles west of Monterey, California. The site is a cluster of retreat cabins nestled in an arboretum by Asilomar Beach. The ceremony will take place outdoors in a meadow, approximately 100 yards away from the reception hall on the conference grounds. Normally, the drive from San Jose is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes, but several events rae being held on the peninsula this weekend, so traffic may vary. The entire Monterey area will be filled with tourists participating in two of the largest events held on the peninsula: The Monterey Sports Car Championships at the Laguna Seca Raceway the the Monterey Jazz Festival. Because of these events, lodging is becoming scarce. Both events are held annually and attract tens of thousands of people.
