This is an example of what a page in my Raggedy data base looks like. For each of my dolls, and other misc. raggedy merchandise, I have recorded information such as date of purchase, price of purchase, year manufactured, etc. I also have a section where I can write a "story" about the particuliar doll which goes into more detail about the special stories we may have shared. The database has given me a great way to record and catalog a lot of information which I have been storing in my head for many years, but never had a place to write down. I found that as I was creating it, I was able to remember many stories which I had completely forgotten. I have also printed a few copies of the database and given them to my family members who always go to antique stores, but can never remember what I already have in my collection.
